Very comfortable but a bit more baggy than i like but its fine since they are so comfortable and l love the crushed velvet feel.great quality and the color is a pretty dark Christmas green.
Love these pants. They are very much a throwback and I love that. The material is good, not scratchy at all. Very stretchy and surprisingly warm. They are quite long which works for some but a little too long on me. I still love them and wear them a lot around the house. One tip, the tie comes out really easily in the wash so make sure you have them tied before going into the washer or you will have to re string your pants which is tricky with the fabric.
These are comfortable velvet lounge pants. I like how the material is somewhat thin and it actually gives these pants a flowy feel. They're very comfortable and I like the overall look. My only complaint is that the drawstring came out of the pants when I first washed them, but that was totally my fault, lol. Other than the now missing drawstring, I still wear them and love these pants for lounging around home.
Although these velvet sweatpants are soft and cozy, the measurements on the listing’s size guide seems completely off. I ordered a medium which is my typical pant size. But they are much longer than expected. The size guide is of no use because most of the measurements on there are incorrect. The waist and rise measurements are the only ones that seem correct. If you look at the listing’s size guide for medium, it says waist is 27.9 and hip is 41.3. Typically hip measurements are only a few inches more than the waist, not 14 inches more. In addition, it states inseam measurement is 29.5” and outseam is 26.8 “ Again, typically outseam is a few inches longer than inseam (outseam is measured from the very top of the pants to the very bottom and inseam measures from the crotch to the bottom). But what’s listed is reversed - outseam is shorter than inseam which is incorrect.Had the measurements been correctly listed, I would have ordered a size down and maybe it would have fit better. It’s too bad because I do like the other characteristics of these pants like the velvet fabric feels really nice and comfy while the high-rise fit and straight leg design could give a flattering, laid-back look. But if you order the wrong size or it doesn’t fit right, you probably won’t ever wear it.
I thought these velour sweatpants were going to be like the Y2k velour tracksuits that were so popular. The styling is different, however. As described in the product listing, this pair is high waisted and baggy, while the Y2k version was lower rise and more fitted. This pair is very comfortable and as described in the listing, it’s just not quite the style I was envisioning.I am 5’7” and ~155 lbs. I normally wear size 8-10 in bottoms but went with size large based on the measurements provided. I would have been better off with a medium because this pair is baggy on me and a little shapeless. If I wear these sweatpants high on my waist, the length hits just above the floor, similar to the length on the model in the video. She must be taller than I am—if I wore them lower on my hips as she does, these pants would be dragging on the floor or I would have to have them hemmed, or maybe fold over the waistband.
